The tour ranks are filled with great ball strikers who seldom or never win because they lack the high level skills, necessary in putting.

Don’t kid yourself, if you are a tour player and not a very very good putter, you are destined to have a so so career.

There are players who drop two to three shots per day due to indifferent putting skills.

One of the most important aspects of putting is making sure that your putter is the correct length and lie for you. (Loft is less critical and depends on the height of cut of the putting surface you play on.)

This involves having an optimum posture to begin with and once the putter is fitted to your specifications you will always fit into the correct posture every time you address the ball.
